STEVE BJORK at Pho City The Loop Methuen
STEVE BJORK at Pho City The Loop Methuen
He’s come a long way from the nights of frying up mozzarella sticks in the back room of an obscure comedy club in the Boston suburbs. He was a college student, using that part-time job to study the craft of stand-up comedy by catching glimpses of the performers on stage.
Today, Steve Bjork is a polished veteran of the highly competitive Boston comedy scene with crisscrossing tours of the country under his belt. His material is intelligent; sometimes absurd, and always accessible, but first and foremost it is funny. What truly sets him apart from the teeming crowd of today’s comedians is that you never have to ask Bjork to work ‘clean.’
Chris Pennie
Chris Pennie has been entertaining crowds since 2005. As a life long bachelor and full-time single dad Chris relies on his dysfunctional family and off beat view of the world to find humor in every day life. If you have kids or were one in the past you’ll be entertained by Chris’ daily battles. In 2012, Chris has been a finalist in CMTs Next Big Comic. In 2011, he was a finalist in the Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival and Dick Doherty’s Beantown Comedy Riots as well as being invited to the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta and the Boston Comedy festival. Also notably, Chris was a finalist in the Mohegan Sun “Funniest Amateur Comic in New England.
James Dorsey
James is an insurance salesman by day and comedian by night! After receiving his first D-minus for conduct in 2nd grade, he realized school was not his cup of tea and took his "disruptive in class" trademark to the stand up stage. James was the national winner of Catch A New Rising Star competition, as well as Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival and has performed at The Boston Comedy Festival. He has shared the stage with Joe Rogan, Bryan Callen, Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan and more! He is a regular at clubs all over New England
